Pembroke Busted Mugshots
Pembroke is a small town. The April 1, 2020 population report counted 2,823 residents. Its police department works out of 98 Union Chapel Road, while the county detention center, per the RCSO detention page, houses everyone arrested by local law enforcement in Robeson County.
The split matters when you hunt for a record. The town department may hold the incident or arrest report. The Sheriff's Office holds the county custody route. Those files can part ways once a person is released, transferred, or moved into state or federal custody, so one source rarely tells the whole story. A recent-arrest entry with a photo shows a moment, not a person's full record or the final charge.
Booking charges change as a case moves through court. Look for the amended charge, a dismissal, a plea, or the final judgment in the official eCourts record.
Pembroke Busted Booking Path
Two agencies, two records. The town and the county split the paperwork after an arrest. Pembroke Police handle the municipal incident or arrest report. The RCSO detention page names the county detention center as the booking spot for anyone arrested by local law enforcement. The town's site and the county custody portal do different jobs, so mixing them up wastes time.
Check the town's Police Report link first. It opens a report and crash-access service, not a booking-photo feed. A name missing there can still hold a county booking entry. A name missing from Police2Citizen may have been released, transferred, excluded, or just not displayed yet.
Name the exact file whenever you request a Pembroke record. Ask the town clerk or the police department about the municipal report. Ask RCSO Records about county intake, and eCourts about the case result. Keeping those requests straight beats treating every online hit as the same document.
Where Pembroke Busted Mugshots Appear
Pembroke posts no official daily arrest blotter. No mugshot page or booking feed exists on the town's public site either. The Police Report link out front is a report and crash-access service. Don't confuse it with the RCSO county custody portal, which is the real place to check who sits in custody.
| Channel | Photo? | Purpose | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| RCSO Inmate Search | Selected entries may include photos | Current or recent county custody | Police2Citizen |
| RCSO Daily Bulletin | Not promised for each event | Public events, including arrests | Police2Citizen portal |
| Pembroke Police | Ask the custodian | Municipal incident or arrest report | Official PD page |
| Pembroke Police Report | Not a booking-photo feed | Report or crash-access route | Town link |
| Robesonian Breaking News | Agency photo or none | Selective Pembroke and county coverage | News section |
| County index pages | Where supplied | Unofficial countywide leads | BustedNewspaper, RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, Mugshots.zone |
One third-party site stands out. BustedNewspaper maintains a verified Pembroke tag at its city page. The other named indexes are countywide, so they may carry a Pembroke entry only when the underlying source data includes one. None of them counts as an official town roster.
Busted in Pembroke: Search Steps
Start with the county custody check. Then request the municipal report only if the question is about the town police event itself.
- Open RCSO Police2Citizen and choose Inmate Search.
- Check Daily Bulletin for a public event entry, knowing it is not the same as current custody.
- Compare the name, booking or event date, agency, charges, bond, photo, and status that the live page supplies.
- Contact Pembroke Police or the Town Clerk for the city-held incident record.
- Search the eCourts Portal for case progress and disposition.
Someone can bond out and vanish from the live roster while the booking and the court case march on. If RCSO returns no result, call Records at (910) 671-3100 or (910) 671-3122. Never treat an old index entry as proof that a person is still in custody.
Pembroke Police and Town Records
For anything tied to the town's police department, the Pembroke Police page is the place to look. Chief Adrian Hunt leads the department. Its station sits at 98 Union Chapel Road in Pembroke, NC 28372, with mail sent to PO Box 866. The non-emergency line is (910) 521-5487, while (910) 521-4333 answers routine calls. For true emergencies, dial 911. The department does not currently post a fee for booking photos or say how long a request takes.

The town code sets the records-access rules. It puts the Town Clerk in charge of custody, citing G.S. 132-6 through 132-6.2. An older FY 2020–21 fee schedule lists 25 cents per administrative copy, $2 for a police incident report, and $5 per fingerprint card. Those are municipal fees from a past budget year, not a current county booking-photo price. Confirm them with Pembroke before you pay anything, and ask which custodian actually holds the record you want.
For the public portion of a county booking record or intake photo, go through RCSO Records. A town incident report and a county booking file answer different questions.
Pembroke Crime Coverage
The Robesonian's Breaking News section runs Pembroke-datelined stories sourced to RCSO or Pembroke Police. A story can surface an agency, a date, or a major incident. But it is selective reporting, so it cannot replace the county roster or the court file. For coverage across the whole county, see Arrest News.
The unofficial indexes deserve similar caution. BustedNewspaper's Pembroke tag and county page are third-party products, and RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, and Mugshots.zone are county-level indexes that may include Pembroke fields. Run every lead against RCSO and eCourts before trusting it. This site does not rehost booking photos.
Pembroke Report Link Is Different
Here is the most common dead end. The Pembroke Police page sends its "Police Report" link to pembroke.ecrash.interplat.com, which is a report and crash-access service rather than a current arrest or booking-photo log. A town link can be perfectly official and still answer a different question than the county detention portal.
So sort your search by purpose. RCSO Police2Citizen covers selected county custody and public events. Pembroke Police or the Town Clerk handles a city-held report. ECourts shows what happened after booking. Keep those paths apart, and you will not mistake a crash-report search or a news story for an arrest record.
When Pembroke Bookings Appear
No set lag exists between a Pembroke arrest and a name showing up online. The sheriff's office publishes recent-arrest data through Police2Citizen, but that announcement comes with caveats. Bonds can change, and some people are left out entirely. So work both tools. Run the Inmate Search and the Daily Bulletin, and call Records directly if an event still is not there.
No multi-day booking blotter exists for the town. Digging into an older matter may take several stops: RCSO, Pembroke Police, the Town Clerk, eCourts, or the clerk of court. A private index can surface an old entry after release, but it says nothing about who is in custody right now.
Pembroke Charges and Court Results
Robeson County moved to eCourts on February 3, 2025. That portal can tell you how things ended. An appearance, a reduced charge, a dismissal, a plea, or a final judgment all live there. A booking record cannot do that; it only captures what officers logged at intake. One more caution. Match the name against a birth date and other lawful identifiers, since common names trip people up.
- Booking
- County intake following an arrest or custody transfer.
- Bond
- A judicial release condition while the case continues.
- Disposition
- The court’s recorded outcome, separate from the roster.
Custody after a Pembroke arrest can fall to different systems. State time means NCDAC. Federal or immigration detention means the matching federal locator. Neither replaces the town report or the RCSO booking path.
The record trails here are easy to tangle. The town's Police Report link handles reports and crash records, not arrests. The town code assigns record custody to the Town Clerk and sets public-record rules. For detention and booking, RCSO stays the county source. Name the record type in any request so staff can route it correctly.
Skip the old FY 2020–21 fee schedule except as history. Those copy and incident-report figures are not today's price for a booking photo. Ask Pembroke about the current charge before you pay or file. No turnaround time for photos has been published.
Nothing in the Police2Citizen announcement promises a fixed gap between arrest and online entry. Check the Inmate Search and the Daily Bulletin first. Then ask RCSO or the town custodian about a record that is still missing. A bond-out or a transfer can also explain why a roster search suddenly comes up empty.
