Information Sent Directly
Search queries
Type a name, a location, or any other term into a search widget. Your entry goes straight to the third-party company running the tool. The site itself keeps no log of those searches on its own systems. Nothing you type is held here.
Messages
Emails and contact-form messages stick around only as long as needed to read them and send a reply. They stay inside the organization. The one exception is a disclosure the law requires. Nothing else moves them outward.
Technical Data and Cookies
Each page load may create ordinary technical records, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring site, when available
- Visit timestamps
Cookie use
Cookies do two jobs here. They measure how visitors use the pages, and they keep certain site functions working. You can block cookies through your browser settings. Just know some features may behave differently once cookies are switched off.
How Information Is Used
- Keep the pages running and improve speed.
- Send search requests to the appropriate partner tool.
- Understand which pages receive use.
- Find and repair technical problems.
- Show advertising that may relate to a visitor’s interests.
Links to Other Services
Pages throughout the site link to RCSO rosters, booking resources, sheriff and corrections pages, court portals, federal locators, and outside search tools. Open any of them. Their own privacy policy applies from that moment forward. Advertising partners can also track activity across sites on their own systems, outside the reach of this notice.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is never sold. When needed for the purposes described above, it may reach the parties listed below:
- Search partners that handle submitted queries
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Practices
Standard, reasonable safeguards protect the information handled here. Still, no system connected to the internet is fully secure. This notice makes no promise that data will be breach-proof or perfectly protected.
Visitors Under 18
The service is built for adults. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted data anyway, a parent or guardian can contact the service and request that it be deleted.
Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of information held about them
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion
- Opt out of certain processing
Requests can be sent through the Contacts page.
Notice Updates
This notice may change over time as the service grows or legal requirements shift. Any revised version will be posted right here, with a new effective date shown.
